Conte is an interior architecture, custom design, and furniture studio founded by James & Michelle Conte in 2021. Conte specializes in custom design, bringing functional art into people's homes and working collaboratively to bring visions to life. With a passion for beauty and creativity, Jamie excels in a dying art, supporting the NYC area and beyond. At Conte, we focus on the design and production of artistic installations and custom furniture pieces, ensuring each project is a testament to craftsmanship and innovation.

James Conte (Jamie)
Designer, Woodworker, & Engineer
At the age of 8, Jamie began crafting wooden toys, such as, swords and shields for himself and his friends. Jamie always had a deep respect and interest for the arts. His passion for woodworking grew, leading him to attend a furniture-making school. After completing his education, Jamie gained invaluable experience at the renowned Lindeblad Piano Restoration. Simultaneously, he created stunning functional art pieces, including lamps, coffee tables, guitars, and more. Jamie is a master of his craft—able to bring any client's vision to life through design sketching, discussions, engineering, and building. Personable and highly skilled, Jamie ensures that every project is in safe and expert hands.
Michelle Tulik-Conte
Communication & Marketing
Michelle, Jamie's wife, is the marketing and communication expert at Conte. She holds a master's degree in Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University and is the behind-the-scenes partner, ensuring the seamless operation and promotion of the studio. Michelle handles client communication, oversee marketing, and ensure each project aligns with our clients' unique visions. Michelle role involves collaborating closely with clients, listening to their ideas, and relaying important information to Jamie so that every detail is crafted to meet their expectations.
